Life from the high-chair

Rarely do we update the blog with photos of our "daily" life because the obvious intent of this blog was to display our photography and hopefully in some way promote what we do. Tonight as we were feeding Natalie, and yes it sometimes takes the effort of both of us, I thought about how the simplest things bring a smile to her face. For example if you could see more food on my face than you could skin, I would probably be yelling into the other room for a towel...or would at least drop the utensil and find the nearest rag, she however looks at us with a smile from ear to ear, as if she is proud of how much food didn't make it into her mouth.

Dinner time is becoming more and more entertaining with her, some might actually compare it the atmosphere of a Gallagher show (google it if you don't know who he is). You might ask "what does this have to do with photography?" the answer to that question is absolutely nothing, other than the fact she was in such a good mood tonight I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap a few photos. Looking past the mess, the face full of sweet potato's, hand fulls of puffs scattered like shrapnel on the kitchen floor, and the tipsy cup size flood on her tray is a little girl that brings a smile to our face on a daily basis.

Maybe there is some photography related tie-in to this post, because after all the whole point of a photo is to capture a memory that we hopefully can look back on someday and again relive the joy of that moment.
