Little Ones

Meet Jackson and Miranda! Last week we had the pleasure of getting these two little ones in front of our camera. Newborn photoshoots are a lot of work, but capturing this cuteness makes it totally worth it!

Cant wait to see them again at 3 months :)

Free-Throw Face

One of the great things about shooting sporting events is the facial expressions of the athletes. Just by focusing on the face you can capture anger, frustration, excitement, exhaustion...but as I sat under the basket I took particular notice to the obvious amount of concentration and repetitiveness during free throws. Some guys open their mouths some stick out their tongues, but whatever their "thing" is I've noticed that they do it on every single free throw shot (I have multiple pictures to prove it). I bet after shooting thousands upon thousands of free throws it has become second nature / routine and they don't even know they do it. 

I have also been paying more attention to the expressions from the crowd...just by focusing on the raw emotion from the fans in the stands it is easy to create a mental picture / story of what is probably happening on the court at that time, that however will be a blog post for a later date.
