This photo shoot was a blast...Cody took me out around his "farm land", he had me jumping over barb wire fences, walking through cattle pens and trodding through a swamp. All totally worth it! Everytime we thought we got the last shot I would walk by something else that I thought would make a great picture...for example this old blue horse trailer, what a great background. It was a lot of fun and his parents told me anytime I wanted to use the land for other photo shoots that I was welcome. DOUBLE SCORE!! haha Thanks Cody....

Jude S.
Had so much fun over the weekend catching up with old friends as well as taking some time to photograph the newest addition to their family. Meet Jude, this little guy had the best hair...it looked like he went to a stylist before the shoot :)
Is there really anything more peaceful than a sleeping newborn baby?
Life from the high-chair
Rarely do we update the blog with photos of our "daily" life because the obvious intent of this blog was to display our photography and hopefully in some way promote what we do. Tonight as we were feeding Natalie, and yes it sometimes takes the effort of both of us, I thought about how the simplest things bring a smile to her face. For example if you could see more food on my face than you could skin, I would probably be yelling into the other room for a towel...or would at least drop the utensil and find the nearest rag, she however looks at us with a smile from ear to ear, as if she is proud of how much food didn't make it into her mouth.
Dinner time is becoming more and more entertaining with her, some might actually compare it the atmosphere of a Gallagher show (google it if you don't know who he is). You might ask "what does this have to do with photography?" the answer to that question is absolutely nothing, other than the fact she was in such a good mood tonight I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap a few photos. Looking past the mess, the face full of sweet potato's, hand fulls of puffs scattered like shrapnel on the kitchen floor, and the tipsy cup size flood on her tray is a little girl that brings a smile to our face on a daily basis.
Maybe there is some photography related tie-in to this post, because after all the whole point of a photo is to capture a memory that we hopefully can look back on someday and again relive the joy of that moment.

Wedding Bells
We were privileged to be a part of Erica Barton and Phil Haag's wedding day. A quaint wedding with the setting of a beautiful backyard water garden, surrounded by 40 close friends and family members. The reception carried over to the Matchett Center and had the perfect touch of "small town" atmosphere.
Thanks so much for letting us be a part of it!!!

Wedding Shower
Had the opportunity to be a part of Ashley and Kyles wedding shower, and what a fun afternoon it was!! Not only did we get to take pictures...but one of the perks of being a photographer is that all the great food (to include some amazing cakes) at the events are also offered to us :) It was fun to see how excited Kyle and Ashley were to be around family and friends, and we are greatful that we got to be a part of the event. THANKS and CONGRATULATIONS Kyle and Ashley!!!
